Swayed off course by Dick Dastardly and his menacing spike protein moustache, Hyland found himself cooped up with Toronto's elite in jazz, folk, dance, hip-hop, funk, soul, and electric mayhem. Many hours, many grooves, many ghosts, and just as many bugs; Disaster Pony was ripped apart, analyzed down to the molecular level, and slowly pressed back together into a vinyl puck. This album beats with the rhythm of so many colliding systems, it would not be accurate to deny that it is alive.
